I entered last year and I think it such a great idea that I have to do it again this year!
2011 marked a huge change for me. First I got a new camera, a Canon 5DmkII. And boy did that make a huge difference. And second I switched back to black and white photography.
SO here are my 11 best photos of 2011. And these are in no particular order.
So beautiful, but my favorite? The lighthouse shot has got to be it!ReplyDelete
Love you minimalism, good luck for this year!ReplyDelete
You are a black and white master Oliver! If I had to pick a favorite it would be or is the last one!ReplyDelete
What an awesome collection of really beautiful shots. Great work from 2011, and best wishes for 2012!ReplyDelete
I think I see a theme here. Great work Oli! Wishing you many great pixels in 2012.ReplyDelete
@Rob: a theme? moi? nooooo ;)
@Steve: No way. I still have a long way ahead of me. One day... one day.
Your use of negative space and stark contrast is stunning. Absolutely one of my new favourite photoblogs!ReplyDelete
Thanks Logan. Appreciate that comment and thanks for the visit!Delete
These are fantastic...the subjects practically jumped out of my screen. Congratulations!ReplyDelete
Very fine work and great use of luminosity and contrast. I am the son of Philip Hyde, who was a student and teaching associate of Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. I can appreciate quality black and white photographs. I especially like #'s 4, 6, 8 and 9.ReplyDelete
David you have no idea what that comment means to me!!!Delete
